ACORN TRAIL CO. | TRADING CARDS
This project celebrates the beauty of British Columbia’s hiking trails through trading cards. Each card features trail statistics and a custom illustration capturing the essence of the trail. Designed to both educate and inspire, the cards aim to connect users with the outdoors in an engaging, collectible format.
Inspired by a personal desire for a tangible memento after completing hikes, the Acorn Trail Co. trading cards are great for anyone who loves the beautiful natural environment of British Columbia. Whether you're a curious beginner or a seasoned hiker, these cards offer a fun way to discover and commemorate the trails you’ve explored.
UFV STUDY ABROAD CAMPAIGN
This project aims to refresh and unify the collateral for UFV’s Study Abroad program, creating consistency with a clean layout. Targeted at current domestic students with a desire to explore the world while continuing their education. The designs are created to inspire curiosity and encourage participation.
Many students are unaware of the study abroad program, so 3 collateral pieces were developed. A brochure was created to be informative by giving just enough detail to spark interest without overwhelming the reader. The poster highlights the Study Abroad Info session, which is the first step into the program. The last pieces crafted were social media post templates to create a consistent visual identity across all social media platforms.
The design process involved researching other institutions' study abroad materials to identify gaps and opportunities in UFV's existing communication. The result is a modern design style that balances UFV’s established branding with playful, engaging layouts. Clean lines, colourful accents, and thoughtful structure come together to capture the interest of students looking for adventure in the academic journey and to become a UFV Explorer!
