Journey Through Generations is an illustrative storybook that explores the theme of how intergenerational storytelling and relationship-building can influence and shape how children group up, through their interactions with their grandparents, as is told through the story of Fern and his Grandpa, the two main characters that guide us through this experience.
This book guides us though a story surrounding our characters Fern and Grandpa, who venture on a metaphorical journey with the usage of illustrations and words that tell us how these kinds of relationships between a grandchild and their grandparents leave such an impactful impression on them, and what that does for their own personal development.
This book was inspired by my relationship with my grandfather, who I hold very close to my heart, and have learnt so much from, that I wanted to peel back the layers as to how these kinds of relationships can blossom, and my love of storybooks as a child.
