Maya is a conceptual graphic designer and fine artist inspired by the intricacies of nature and emotion. From a young age she enjoyed all realms of art from paper crafts and painting to dance and music; finding solace in expressing her emotions in imaginative ways. Everything Maya creates is rooted in intentionality, whether it's infographic design, branding, or interactive design. Maya finds joy in solving creative problems; combining her love for fine arts with her expertise in digital design. She offers a refreshing perspective that integrates her passion for empathy with her commitment to sustainability.

Breakfast Boost

What began as a collection of my favourite breakfast recipes evolved into a website dedicated to helping others discover the joy of breakfast. The goal of Breakfast Boost is to inspire university students to nourish their mind and body with breakfast and open up conversations about self-love and body image. Bringing watercolour paintings into a digital website, Breakfast Boost conveys an authentic, joyful feel; encouraging the audience to have fun with breakfast.
Bee Aware
Infographic
Bee Aware is an infographic that raises awareness of the fact that Canada’s wild pollinators are declining. Honey bees often get the majority of media attention, while native pollinators, such as bumble bees, are at risk of extinction. The challenge with this project was to take complex research and extract the most vital information and display it in a clear and organized structure. This infographic provides a simple guide on the plight of our pollinators, while conveying a sense of hope.
