This transmedia project explores how design can shift the culture of hiking from one defined by speed and performance toward one rooted in mindfulness and reflection. Centered around a reflective hiking kit, the project encourages users to slow down and engage more deeply with their surroundings through analog tools like notebooks, pens, and a film camera promoting observation, documentation, and self-discovery.
Alongside this, a video component visualizes the growing tension within contemporary outdoor culture, where social media, GPS tracking, and performance metrics have turned hiking into a competitive, fast-paced activity, often valued through data rather than lived experience.
